This is Halloween.
Four years ago this is when we left Long Island. Most of our things were in a truck headed for a 10 x 15 storage unit. Our two Golfs were loaded with everything else. I had the six-month-old baby, two parakeets, and two plants. We weren't able to fit the vacuum cleaners and had to leave them at the curb. My husband had no job behind us, and none where we were heading, but we knew we did not want to be on L.I. anymore. A month had been plenty; four and a half years had been more than enough.
So glad. So glad.
