I'll admit I was a bit nervous how this baby was going to be received by the office. The intake nurse had a bit of a tizzy over the fact we had no apgar scores, but the Nurse Practitioner who ran the appointment could have cared less. She saw an alert and weight gaining baby; "She's so healthy... you don't even need us!"
The girl who handled the billing looked at the visit codes form and exclaimed, "You had a home birth?! Was it totally awesome?"
"Yes," I told her, "it was totally awesome."
