The Retro Look

"Mommy, your hair's still short!" Monkey1 greeted me this morning. I got a noticeably shorter cut yesterday, leaving some 4 to 6 inch lengths on the floor of the Hair Cuttery, and my kids are fascinated.

Monkey1 said I looked like "the picture" and dragged me down to the basement, where in my work corner I have pictures and certificates from my video production days. Indeed, there I was, ten years ago, shaking hands with Archbishop Foley at the Proclaim Awards. "Your hair is like the picture," Monkey1 informed me, "but you don't have Harry Potter glasses anymore."
